I love to watch Christian movies. As a family we all do. Sometimes it's hard to find a great selection of Christian movies to choose from. Of course your local Christian Book Store usually has some releases on hand. However, after performing a few online searches, I found a really awesome site that carries some great Christian movies. It's called ChristianMovies.com and I found the site to be very impressive including the product line.
 
 
 

The Occult

What is an occult? We hear the word in many circles, on television, in churches and even in forms of paranoia. However, what is the occult or a occult? What are the roots and history of the occult? and what does the Bible say about the occult?
 
In my online studies on the occult, I found that there are many different kinds of occults that hold many different beliefs systems. Many occults adapt different beliefs, systems of government and even cult symbols. Very much like corporations, social clubs, and even churches.
 
In all honesty, when it comes to the occult, there is no one occult, there are many. Of course satanism is considered a occult, and to dig into the depths and roots of satanism, the belief system and the overall practice of satanism is a intense study.
 
Truth is, there is so much information, the good, the bad and the down right silly regarding the occult, that you just have to take it in and make your own conclusion. However, let me encourage you to read and study sites that apply sound biblical advise and scriptural references.

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
 
 
 

Building Houses For Those In Need

There is just a sweet sweet aroma that manifests when people come together and reach out to others. It is simply an extension of the love of God flowing into the hearts and lives of others. As Christian's it should be a daily part of our lives to have compassion and reach out and help others. Our world is filled with hurting people. People who are encountering difficulties, that are homeless, lacking in food and medical needs. People that just need to be loved.

There are many ministries within the body of Christ that are really reaching out in the communities and making a difference. One of those ministries is called The Dream Center . I couldn't even begin to share all they do, and the lives that they touch. However, you might want to visit their ministry website and check it out. They are based out of Los Angeles, serve the surrounding community and have quite a outreach program. It's amazing how God uses them and how they have grown over the years.

The Destructive Power Of Bitterness & Unforgiveness

We all occasionally deal with bitterness and unforgiveness. Many times we become offended at or by others and bitterness can set in. After a while unforgiveness can root and before we know it, things are starting to take on a whole new form. Bitterness once it sets up residence in a persons heart, well it soon invites it's relatives which are frustrations, hatred and even deeply rooted angers. When these things come forth, we can soon find our character and personality becoming very bad. The end results is that our life and even health can be affected.
 
The answer. Forgive those who have wronged you and let go of the situation. Besides life is to precious and beautiful to allow bitterness to make it seem dark.
 
Forgiveness is the heartbeat of God, and we as God's children should clothe ourselves with forgiveness.
