I love to watch Christian movies. As a family we all do. Sometimes it's hard to find a great selection of Christian movies to choose from. We all occasionally deal with bitterness and unforgiveness. Many times we become offended at or by others and bitterness can set in. After a while unforgiveness can root and before we know it, things are starting to take on a whole new form. Bitterness once it sets up residence in a persons heart, well it soon invites it's relatives which are frustrations, hatred and even deeply rooted angers. When these things come forth, we can soon find our character and personality becoming very bad. The end results is that our life and even health can be affected.

The answer. Forgive those who have wronged you and let go of the situation. Besides life is to precious and beautiful to allow bitterness to make it seem dark.

Forgiveness is the heartbeat of God, and we as God's children should clothe ourselves with forgiveness.

As Christian parents, mothers and fathers we must be committed to praying for our children and lifting them up to the Lord daily. Our world is becoming increasingly more complex, violent and dangerous. The days of the past are long gone and as the seasons have changed, our world and communities are fast changing. I just read a news article that stated that "more than half million kids a year are treated for medication side effects in American, according to new data". Those are some big numbers. We all love a good movie. Over the years movies have changed. It seems that most of the popular movies are filled with violence, murder, hate, death and lots of explosive destruction. That's entertainment. However, what seeds do these movies sow into the hearts and minds of humanity? Why is it that people love to watch movies about murder, violence and scenes that are so life like a real that show human beings being killed? People literally feed on the violence and violent ways. What are the affects upon young boys and girls when they are exposed to such things? What are the affects upon late teens?

We should all be careful what we allow our children to watch, the seeds just might produce fruit, rotten fruit.

Have you ever noticed how many times we seem to get into high gear before we shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and to 4th. This happens in churches, in ministries and in our personal lives. Personally I have found God, my walk with God and the Christian life to be season after season of change and that God is in no hurry. Considering that Christ died upon the cross over 2,000 years ago and countless generations and seasons have unfolded, that in it's self proves that God is a patient God. After all, God could have judged the world 1,000 years ago and called His Bride home, yet here we are, still awaiting the second coming of Christ.

Many times, we just flat out get in a hurry. We get so far ahead of God, His plans and His purposes that we are creating our own agenda's while thinking and believing we are in God's Perfect Will. I've oftened wondered this in regards to the size of our online ministry which has grown to over 150 separate ministry blogs, not counting all the other blogging communities that we are involved within. Yet and again, I feel this overwhelming call to share the love of Christ and His Redeeming Passion with the world.

Sometimes God Projects in the fast lane are fruit full. Thank God when the Holy Spirit is involved.

Jesus spoke of the man who built his house on solid foundation vs. the man that built his house on sand. One was built on rock solid foundation, while the other was not. Jesus went on to say that the house built on the solid foundation could withstand difficult times, that the winds could blew and the house would remain, but that the house built on sand would not stand and great would be the fall of it. Just imagine the endless situations and circumstances that this application could apply to.

Sometimes it's possible to start out on solid foundation and slowly be moved to unstable foundation. One way for this to happen is through compromise. We all occasionally compromise, however if we continue to walk in compromise it can cause a shift and that shift can lead to unstable grounds.

When this happens, we must examine situations, ourselves, and the path that we have taken. For it's easy to get off course in today's world.

If it doesn't line up with God's Word, we might just find that we are chewing on meat that is not from God. That's why it's so important to read and study God's Word. Over the years in my walk with God I've come to a place where I daily find peace raining in my life. I've come to love the peace of God and love experiencing it. Thinking back I wonder how I even functioned when my life was ruled by irritations, frustrations, bitterness, fear and every other thing that comes with life and that life throws at us.

So what's the formula? Well my formula is Jesus, prayer, worship, reading the word of God and the fact that God simply brought me out of darkness and a life of walking in darkness. Jesus is the Prince of Peace and God does give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.

However to truly find peace, one must pursue peace. Seek the Prince of Peace and peace will find you.

Just imagine if your house was not built on concrete, but rather sand. Things could become very unstable at any given time. A earthquake could occur, or a winter storm. There could be a flood, or even a mudslide. The results could be very bad. Just imagine all the potential possibilities for disaster if your house was built on sand. The wise farmer prepares the ground before sowing his seeds. The soil must be made ready to receive the seeds. That requires preparing the soil. Then the farmer plants the seeds and waters the seeds sown and in there season they grow and produce a harvest.

Now imagine a field of weeds and the farmer sowing the seeds and not watering them. One must remove the weeds, prepare the soil, sow the seeds and water them.

Now picture one's heart as the soil, Christ as the farmer and sower, the seed as the word of God and the water as the Holy Spirit.

Prayer is powerful. It is a very wonderful way of communicating with God and sharing fellowship with him. Pray daily and simply place your requests before Him.

2008 is simply past history and 2009 is upon us. Our world is struggling in so many areas, in so many situations and the circumstances, well, they just seem to be intensifying.

Much like watching a hurricane building and creating strong winds. However, there is a eye in the midst of such storms where the air currents are calm.

May the Prince of Peace be the eye of the storms that arise in your life. May Christ be the Rock that you stand upon and may the Spirit be the wind in your
sails.
